Deal Us In CASINO staff training is the AGLC's responsible gambling training program for casino/REC licensees' registered gaming workers.

To get certified or renew your Deal Us In Phase One certification, sign in to your SMART Programs account and register for the online program here. Valid Phase One certification is required for registration into Deal Us In Phase Two.

Phase Two of the Deal Us In program is more intensive training for security and selected management employees (all supervisors, managers and security staff).

Phase Two explains how to respond appropriately to front-line staff referrals, as well as how to conduct patron interventions. Registrants are also trained to register players into the AGLC's Voluntary Self-Exclusion (VSE) program (for patrons who want to exclude themselves from Alberta casinos and RECs for a specified period of time), upon their request.

The Phase Two program is delivered by the AGLC's GameSense Advisors. Registered gaming workers who require Deal Us In Phase Two certification should contact their supervisor or Human Resources department for more information.
